She's making her mark on U.S. television after famously playing Doctor Who's companion Martha Jones on the BBC for four years.
And one of the many reasons for Freema Agyeman's success in America so far is her stunning good looks, which were on full display on set of The Carrie Diaries in New York City, on Thursday.
The 34-year-old beauty sported a denim jacket and a flowing ornately printed dress as she ran through her lines in the summer streets.

The British actress plays Larissa Loughlin, a trendy style editor at a large magazine, who takes time away from her party girl lifestyle to mentor Carrie Bradshaw in the prequel series to Sex And The City.
The role already has people buzzing that Freema is bound to become a bigtime television actress with her sexy yet smart turn as the woman who made Carrie into the icon she would later become.
Rehearsing her lines for the CW show, Freema was playful on set as she carried a small plastic water bottle - keeping hydrated in the seasonably warm streets of the BIg Apple.

The burgeoning star took time out from her busy day of filming to pose for memento snaps with adoring fans of the hit show.
But the actress was recently caught up in a recent controversy after the BBC's Doctor Who was accused of being 'racist', alleging that the Doctor's apparent contempt for 'primitive' people, and his passion for cricket as proof of a reactionary ‘whiteness’ pervading his adventures.
But following claims by a group of academics in a new book Doctor Who And Race, fans have rushed to dismiss the criticisms as ‘groundless’ and ‘ridiculous’.
Dad on set: Matt Letscher, who plays Carrie's father Tom Bradshaw, was present for the day of filming
And the BBC hit back claiming that the casting of Freema as the Time Lord's assistant in 2006 and Noel Clarke, who played Mickey Smith for five years is proof that the show was not racist.
Meanwhile, also on set in New York on Thursday was Kate Nowlin and Matt Letscher - who plays Carrie's father Tom Bradshaw.
The Carrie Diaries returns for Season two on October 25 on The CW.
Star turn: Freema as Larissa in the first episode of The Carrie Diaries on the CW with Carrie Bradshaw, played by AnnaSophia Robb
Diversity: The BBC has vehemently denied claims that Doctor Who is 'racist', pointing out the casting of Freema as Martha alongside David Tennant's Dr in 2006
