She was one of the big names of the night so Laura Whitmore of course wanted to stand out on Wednesday night as she hosted the latest Very.co.uk launch party.

The TV presenter was there to address the star-studded audience as the company launched its DEFINITIONS fashion brand.

And stand out she did in a mish-mash of black and white prints thanks to her quirky trousers and shirt she tucked into them.

But while it could have been seen as somewhat of a headache, Laura actually managed to pull it off.

She glowed as usual with her blonde locks tumbling down in curls, while she remained fashion conscious with a co-ordinating black clutch bag.

Laura accessorised further with some pointy black heels and a long necklace hanging down her vibrant shirt.

Although she wasn't the only one to stand out at the party.

Millie Mackintosh also caused a stir as she arrived in an asymmetric frock which showed off her tanned slim legs.

It may have been the night of her fiance Professor Green's bar opening but Millie made sure she showed her face at the fashion event first.

Glam: Olivia Grant, Charlie Webster and Erin McNaught wore a variety of ensembles to try and make their mark on the night

Kara Tointon was also on hand to add some extra glamour, showing off her style in a powder blue shift dress.

She wore her hair down in a long bob, while Kimberley Garner also made an entrance.

The former Made In Chelsea star wore a black vest tucked into a petite polka dot skirt with co-ordinating monochrome heels.

TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh has seen off competition from Rihanna and Beyonce to be voted the best bikini body of 2013.

Almost one third of women polled said reality TV star Mecklenburgh had the beach figure they would most like to emulate.

In second place came Bajan beauty Rihanna, who cornered nearly a fifth of the vote thanks to her toned but curvaceous shape.

American reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, who recently shed 13lbs, came third in the survey with 12 per cent of women saying she had the perfect shape.

Chart topper Beyoncé and movie star Jessica Alba each received eight per cent of the vote, putting them in joint fourth place.

Bride-to be-Millie Mackintosh, who recently embarked on a juice diet, snatched sixth place with seven per cent of women saying her slim frame was their favourite.

Soap star Michelle Keegan and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took a respectable seventh place, with each garnering four per cent of the votes.

She works out: Millie Mackintosh, who recently embarked on a juice diet, snatched up the sixth place position

Khloe Kardashian - 12 per cent

Beyoncé - 8 per cent

Jessica Alba - 8 per cent

Millie Mackintosh - 7 per cent

Michelle Keegan - 4 per cent

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - 4 per cent

Rita Ora - 2 per  cent

Jessie J - 1 per cent

Others - 3 per cent

Rounding off the top 10 were singers Rita Ora with two per cent and Jessie J with one per cent of vote.  

One respondent said: 'I admire Lucy Mecklenburgh so much - she is such an inspiration with an amazing figure.

'I’ve watched TOWIE from the start and she has always been slim but the fact that she has taken it on herself to tone up further when she doesn’t need to is great.

'She has inspired so many women of all ages to exercise and her bikini body shows that hard work really does pay off.'

Another woman who took part in the survey said: 'I think that Khloe Kardashian has a gorgeous figure and the best thing about it is that she’s earned it. 

'She constantly has negative stories printed about her in the media for being overweight but now she’s proved everybody wrong and she looks fantastic.'

A spokesman for HolidayPlace.co.uk, who carried out the survey, said: 'All of the women in the top 10 are beautiful and absolutely deserve to be there. 

'Most of them put in so much hard work and effort to maintain a good figure so it’s so nice for them to receive that recognition.

'A lot of young women are being inspired to keep fit and healthy in the right way rather than extreme diets which is a great thing.'
