'I'm back b****es': Lily Allen reverts to her maiden name as she prepares for the release for her first music in four years

Only last year she revealed that her professional name would be changed to Lily Rose Cooper.

But 12-months on, the singer has confirmed that her new music will be released under her maiden name as she records her first musical output in more than four-years.

Having changed her Twitter handle from Cooper to Allen, the 28-year-old added two telling tweets along with a hyperlink for her official website, lillyallenmusic.com.

‘Hello, im Lily Allen,’ she wrote in one, while another, posted immediately afterwards added: ‘and, I’, coming back, b***hes.’

Lily recently returned to music with a featured appearance on Pink track True Love, but her last solo single came in 2009 with Who’d Have Known.

That release came from second studio album It’s Not Me, It’s You, but despite the LP winning critical praise and commercial success it wasn’t enough to stop the singer retiring from music following a performance at Wembley Stadium in September 2010.

Since then she’s pursued other ventures with varying degrees of success – amongst them ambitious clothing store Lucy in Disguise and her own Sony backed record label, In The Name Of

Her musical hiatus also saw her marry builder Sam Cooper after he proposed during a holiday in Bali.

The couple exchanged vows in 2011, after which she gave birth to their two daughters – Ethel Mary in November 2011 and Marnie Rose in January 2013.

Earlier this month Lily hinted that a new single could be ready by next March or April, with an album expected to follow soon after.

The singer – who admitted in May that tracks for the new album were ‘shaping up well' - has also been sharing studio time with It’s Not Me, It’s You producer Greg Kurstin.

She also made a live return in February when she took to the stage at Paris Fashion Week during the Girls Only! Etam Lingerie show, which was directed by her old pal Mark Ronson.

In a tweet posted shortly before the performance, she wrote: ‘Just did rehearsal for tomorrow's ETAM Show with @iamMarkRonson, still know the words to Smile, which is good. #mumback (sic).’

She's now well versed in dressing for red carpet events, particularly at the moment as she tours the globe on her latest movie promotional trail.

And it seems Lily Collins is upping the glamour stake every time she attends a premiere at the moment.

On Saturday it was Norway's turn to host the latest screening of her film The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones.

And yet again Lily stunned amongst her male co-stars as she showed up to the bash in a stunning yet daring sheer style frock.

The 24-year-old showed off her slim physique in the nude coloured dress which was embellished with plenty of black detailing.

The high neck gave it an extra grown up and glamorous feel, while she accessorised with black pointy heels.

Her hair even fitted in with the look with her locks worn down in waves.

And she certainly seemed confident as she posed for numerous photos while arriving on the red carpet on Saturday afternoon.

Despite being dressed up in the intricate frock she still managed to take part in a hand print ceremony at the venue.

Careful! She even managed to remain graceful as she knelt on her knees and placed her hand in cement outside the venue

Leaving her mark: She has already been to several countries in the last few days as she continues to promote the movie

She was seen kneeling down as she put her hands in cement alongside her male co-stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jamie Campbell Bower, who is also her now ex-boyfriend.

The male stars also dressed up for the bash, both looking dapper in smart casual ensembles.

Jonathan opted for simple jeans and a white T-shirt but dressed it up wit ha waistcoat, while Jamie showed off his style in a navy blue suit and a trilby hat.

After the hand ceremony it was then all change as they headed to the actual premiere.

Lily decided to go more understated and swapped her sheer frock with an LBD as she cuddled up to her old flame Jamie.

For the second part of the promotional day Jamie also swapped clothes and again went for a quirky get-up in skinny jeans and a cardigan over his T-shirt.

Despite splitting up just before the film was released, the stars were determined to remain professional and avoid any awkwardness during their promotional duties.

She's one hot commodity right now.

And if her recent ex, Jamie Campbell Bower, was having any second thoughts about the demise of their relationship, he'd want to act fast.

Returning to her Toronto hotel after dinner on Friday night, Lily Collins had onlookers doing a double take with her rather revealing outfit.

The starlet was dressed in a knee-length black leather skirt with matching strappy heels and a beige knitted top that exposed her black bra underneath.

The porcelain-skinned beauty was glowing thanks to peach blush on her cheeks and soft pink lips, while there was a definite twinkle in her eyes as she showed her ex what he's missing.

The 24-year-old certainly won't be single for long if she keeps up her recent dazzling fashion parade - though she insists her style is evolving simply for herself - and not because of a man.

'I’ve definitely edged-up my style a little, but not for any reason other than I’m experimenting with myself,' she says in an interview in the September issue of Seventeen magazine.

She adds, 'I always wanted tattoos, so this past November, I got two. I got my back done first. It's my handwriting and it says, "Love always and forever."'

Opening up about the fascination with her love life, the British-born star admits she prefers to keep mum about her relationships.

'I’m not one to hide anything, but I don’t feel the need to comment directly on [my relationships]...
I think it would be a shame to not live in the moment and not enjoy everything that’s happening in fear of other people’s opinions.'

But despite her recent heartbreak, the ever-optimistic star still has advice for girls still searching for The One.

'My advice for girls who are waiting for their Prince Charming is to be open for anything. Be open to new experiences, be open to the idea that it may take longer than you want, but if you're open to meeting new people and new adventures, then love will come along.'

While she's yet to move on from her romance with co-star Jamie, Lily was lucky enough to be accompanied to dinner by another hunky man on Friday.

However, her dinner date was purely platonic, with the actress dining with her The Mortal Instruments co-star Kevin Zegers and his new wife, Jaime Feld.

The longtime couple, who wed on August 3, may not have enjoyed much of a honeymoon with promotion of the 28-year-old's film kicking into high gear, but the actor is still very much reveling in newly-wedded bliss.

Speaking to E! News on the red carpet at the movie's Hollywood premiere on August 12, the former Gossip Girl star gushed about being a married man.

'I feel like there was something calming about getting married,' he says. 'It was like the perfect day.
I know everyone says that, but the weather was perfect, the band was perfect... We just partied till God knows how long.'

She recently split with her boyfriend and co-star Jamie Campbell Bower.

And it seems Lily Collins is using any chance she has to show him what he's missing.

Sparking enticement, the 24-year-old actress displayed her bare back in an angelic, lace-adorned gown to the Canadian premiere of The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones in Toronto, Canada on Thursday.

The white, long-sleeved dress appeared demure from the front, but clearly gave off a different vibe from behind.

To go with her flowing frock, Lily styled her lustrous locks into a chic updo which was embellished with a silver head piece.

And completing her look, she highlighted her features with sultry plum shades of make-up.

From all of her promotional appearances, the British star seems to favour the hand-on-the-hip pose, frequently snapped in this position as of late.

But the Mirror Mirror actress didn't appear to appreciate it when her ex-boyfriend placed his hand on her hip during a group shot alongside other co-stars Robert Sheehan and Kevin Zegers.

Instead, she was caught fronting an apathetic expression.

Jamie and Lily - who is the daughter of Phil Collins - first became an item while filming this movie but split just as it came out.

Yet the pair have remained amicable - critical, considering the numerous press tours and future shoots they'll be together for considering that The Mortal Instruments is a six-part series.

City Of Bones follows New York teen Clary Fray, played by Lily Collins, who discovers that she has the powers of half-angel, half-human beings called shadowhunters.

It was one of the year's bestselling novels, peaking at No. 8 on the New York Times bestseller list and racking up a rabid fanbase.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, is in theaters on August 21, and the film adaptation for the sequel City Of Ashes begins production in late September and will arrive sometime in 2014.

And Lily Collins’ ex-boyfriend Jamie Campbell Bower would no doubt have been kicking himself on Monday.

The former couple were in attendance at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones.

And leading lady Lily pulled out all the stops to ensure her look was jaw-dropping – and easily succeeded.

The 24-year-old sported a tight white dress with a top half that was cut and slashed so much that practically just her modesty was covered with flimsy bits of fabric.

The daughter of Phil Collins slicked her chestnut brown tresses into a neat ponytail so that the full effects of her racy frock and bare flesh could be seen.

Lily, who topped off her outfit with white pumps, went for an all-out vampish look as far as her make-up was concerned, with deep red lipstick, smoky eyes and her trademark bold and dark eyebrows.

A tattoo on Lily’s back, which she got in November while in a relationship with her co-star, was visible and reads ‘Love always and forever.’

Lily and Jamie were first romantically linked in July 2012 after meeting on set of the film, and are believed to have split recently after one year together.

The pair walked the red carpet separately, but posed side by side for a group shot, and Jamie was no doubt looking on while Lily showed him what he is missing.

The actor, also 24, chose a bold cobalt blue three-piece suit for the occasion, along with black patent lace-up shoes.

Teen idol Bella Thorne looked lovely without stealing the spotlight from the stars of the movie, in a printed monochrome dress with lots of pink lipstick.

And Julianne Hough went for a smart casual look in an embroidered floral top, high-waisted red tailored trousers and white sandals.

Kevin Zegers was in attendance too, along with his new wife Jaime Field, and the pair looked every inch the blissfully happy newlyweds.

There was also something of a British invasion as along with Jamie, and Lily who was born in England, Nathan Sykes from The Wanted and Misfits star Robert Sheehan were in attendance.

The movie follows a teenage girl who goes on a life-changing quest after her mother is attacked and taken by a demon.

The film, based on the first book from the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, is out in the US and UK on August 21.

The singer and actress stole the red carpet show in the dark green Cushnie et Ochs clinging number with showed off her svelte figure and toned legs with a double slit.

Turquoise Neil Lane earrings, poker straight hair and nude high heeled Nicholas Kirkwood pumps completed her look.

The star was nominated for a whopping six awards at the annual event which took place at the Gibson Ampitheatre at Universal Studios.

Nominations included Choice Female Artist; Choice Summer Music Star: Female; Choice Single: Female Artist for Come & Get It; Choice Break-Up Song for Come & Get It; Choice Smile, and Choice Female Hottie.

Selena has already won seven Teen Choice Awards, but faced stiff competition, with friends Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato all up against her in many of the categories.

She ended up walking away with three gongs, winning Choice Female Artist, Choice Single by a Female Artist for Heart Attack and Choice TV Personality, Female.

However, she declared she was 'not nervous' about the show, where she was nominated for Best Movie Actress: 'I'm just here to have a good time,' she said.

The awards, voted by teenagers aged 13 to 19, were hosted by Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Glee actor Darren Criss.

Lucy plumped for a pretty cropped white top and flared skirt teamed with strappy black sandals, while her co-host Darren wore a brown suit with blue shirt.

Many stars were on hand to promote their latest project with Lily Collins presenting an award to publicise her new movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones which is released on August 21 in the U.S.

At least one member of the band were excited about the night's event, with Nialls Horan tweeting: 'TCA's today! Wohoo! I promise I'm gettin up now! It all kicks off soon! Can't wait!'

Pitch Prefect star and comic actress Rebel Wilson made a beeline for the band backstage, tweeting a photograph of herself with them and Ed Sheeran.

And an excited Nina Dobrev looked striking in a very low cut black jumpsuit with a red and white splatter design.

'It's sunny, it's fun,' The Vampire Diaries star said about the TCAs on the red carpet. 'Everyone's here. It's fun driving in and seeing the fans.'
