It's only been a few days since she publicly revealed she's engaged to pop star boyfriend Zayn Malik.

But now Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has had to come back down to earth, let it all settle in and get back to work.

Although that wasn't going to stop her showing off her new accessory as she happily danced around on stage on Saturday as the girls performed at the Liverpool International Music Festival.

Back to work: It was only a few days ago that her engagement to One Direction's Zayn Malik was revealed but it's now back to work for the star

Perrie in fact seemed to be revelling in the fact she was performing once more in front of her army of fans for the first time since the happy news broke.

The 20-year-old dressed fairly understated for the gig compared to her usual skimpy attire.

She opted for a tweed jumpsuit with a belt cinching in her petite waist, while the singer opted for comfort in trainers.

The pop star seemed in high spirits as she grinned at the audience and animatedly danced while belting into the microphone.

And while she held onto her mic her big rock of an engagement ring was easy to be seen.

The girls also gave it their all as they joined the loved up star on stage for the festival.

They continued their quest for world domination by appearing alongside the great and good of the showbiz world at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday evening. 

But the Little Mix girls didn't have much time to enjoy basking in their glory, and were whisked straight off to LAX Airport to wave goodbye to Los Angeles and head back to London. 

Jade Thirlwall, 20, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 21, and Jesy Nelson, 22, were all spotted arriving at the terminal in the same clothes they had been wearing to the star-studded ceremony at the Gibson Ampitheatre earlier in the evening.

And while her bandmates prepared to head home to their native UK, fourth member Perrie Edwards, 20, was nowhere to be seen.

Perhaps the Geordie beauty had decided to stay behind to spend some quality time with her boyfriend, One Direction's Zayn Malik, who she was spotted cosying up to in the audience at the Teen Choice Awards. 

Perrie and Zayn - who have been dating for 18 months since meeting through The X Factor in 2011 - were seen giggling away in amazement as Zayn's bandmate Harry Styles decided to try his luck at twerking live on air.

When four becomes three: The quartet posed together on the red carpet at the Gibson Ampitheatre earlier in the evening

Although the blonde singer was able to combine work with pleasure by spending some time with her boyband beau at the ceremony, the Little Mix girls also enjoyed an important role at the awards in presenting Miley Cyrus with the Candie's Fashion Trendsetter gong. 

But the We Can't Stop singer faced fierce competition in the sartorial stakes from the Wings hitmakers, who all looked great as they showed off their trademark quirky styles on the red carpet. 

Leigh-Anne turned heads in a high-necked monochrome striped maxi-dress from Madonna's Material Girl collection at Macy's, which she teamed with oversized hoop earrings and towering black strappy sandals.

Jade looked cute as a button in a grey vest-style minidress bearing the logo 'Holy Chic' and fun and funky pair of cat ears. 

Perrie and Jade both opted for black maxi-dresses for the occasion, with Perrie adding a vampy look to her red carpet ensemble with the addition of dramatic berry lips.

The girls certainly seemed to be excited about attending the star-studded awards ceremony, posting a number of Twitter messages and Instagram photos onto their pages.

And they enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with their X Factor USA co-stars, judge Demi Lovato and fellow girlband Fifth Harmony.

Posting a snap of the group on her Twitter page, Demi wrote: 'Me with Little Mix and Fifth Harmony!!! XfactorGIRLPOWER.'

One Direction were among the biggest winners at the ceremony, taaking home four awards for Choice Summer Tour, Choice Group, Choice Single for Live While We're Young and Choice Love Song for Little Things.

Meanwhile, teen heartthrob Harry bagged two solo awards for Top Hottie and Best Smile.

But Leigh-Anne Pinnock embraced her glamorous side on Thursday night as she headed out to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday in a plunging black gown.

Obviously wanting to give him a night to remember, the pop star went for a knockout look, pairing the backless dress with towering stilettos and huge hoop earrings.

Proving just how much she cares about other half Jordan Kiffin, the 21-year-old made more of an effort than usual as the couple headed to The Rose Club for a night of partying.

And it looked like they'd had a good night as they emerged in the early hours with grins on their faces, keeping close and holding hands as they headed home.

Footballer Jordan looked proud of his pop star other half, who certainly stole the limelight in the attention-grabbing dress, that showed off a hint of side-boob.

Despite the late night, the singer still looked perfectly preened as she left the exclusive club, wearing deep plum lipstick and with her hair looking larger than usual.

She obviously wanted everyone to know how she felt about her footballer boyfriend, taking to Twitter to lavish him with affectionate praise.

Someone's not impressed! Leigh-Anne Pinnock gets hit in the face with a green plastic bottle during Little Mix concert

They're one of the most popular girl groups of the moment, with hit singles and sell-out concerts to their name.

But it seems that not everyone is a fan of Little Mix, as Leigh-Anne Pinnock found out the hard way during a concert in Wales on Sunday.

Despite the band's upbeat pop tunes and inoffensive nature, the 21-year-old was hit in the face with a green plastic bottle thrown by someone in the crowd.

The X Factor winners were giving the performance at Access Eirias their all, but it seems that one fan was less than impressed.

Mid-song someone hurled the green bottle at the singer's head, causing her to turn to the side in an attempt to shield her face.

And it seems that the others clocked the unfortunate incident too, as Jade Thirlwall looked around at her friend in surprise.

But ever the professionals, the girls carried on with their set, brushing off the attack and trying to soldier on.

Looking more like rock stars than pop stars the girls confidently ruled the stage strutting their stuff and even flashing the occasional rock sign.

Keeping up the monochrome themed ensembles they have been wearing recently on stage, the band wowed in black and white.

But rather surprisingly just one member decided to show off their midriff – Leigh-Anne Pinnock - who wore a black and gold cropped top with her black jeans.

The rest of the group did however show off their legs, all opting for short skirts for their on stage looks.

Jesy Nelson, who is usually seen wearing skintight dresses, opted for comfort wearing a loose fitting white vest dress, which she teamed with a pair of chunky boots favoured by punks.

Fun: Despite travelling a lot for their various shows the girls seemed to really be enjoying themselves

Perrie also worked a punky vibe wearing a pair of Dr Martens boots with a loose fitting white trimmed shirt and black skirt. 

Jade opted for a casual look, like the rest of the girls, wearing a black T-shirt with a pair of lacy cycling shorts on show beneath.

Following the performance, Jade tweeted: ‘Literally had one of the best gigs ever this evening #AccessAllEirias !! The crowd were unreal! Now on tour bus watching hostel :/ Xxjadexx’

It’s been a non-stop weekend for the group who headlined Ponty’s Big Weekend on the Saturday alongside JLS and Union J. 

And the weekend before the group headed to Scotland to take part in T in the Park Festival.

Success: The group have enjoyed a hugely successful year and are thought to have made £1million each

While they may currently be enjoying success with their stage shows the group had less luck recently when their trademark was denied.

The X Factor winners were hoping to sell a range of Little Mix merchandise – including kitchen utensils and pizzas.

It’s thought they even wanted to branch out to walking sticks but the request to trademark their name was rejected. 

The news comes as it was recently revealed they banked an impressive £1.2million in the last financial year.

And Little Mix's Jade Thirwall made sure to pay homage to her Scottish surroundings in a pair of punky tartan red trousers. 

No doubt delighting the crowd with her patriotic choice of outfit, the 20-year-old singer teamed her baggy pants with a pair of rock chick-inspired black lace-up leather boots, while wearing black braces hanging down from her waist.

Injecting a further pop of colour with a slick of pillar-box red lipstick, the Wings hitmaker defined her eyes with dramatic liner flicks as she performed an energetic set alongside bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Showing off her slim pins in her skimpy outfit, the blonde beauty completed her look with a black beanie hat, a slick of red lipstick and black lace-up leather boots.

But Perrie, 20, didn't seem too impressed after a festival employee mistook her name for 'Jerry' on her sound equipment, posting a snap on the official Little Mix Twitter page of her snarling into the camera as she showed off the offending object.

Luckily, she didn't seem put out for too long, later writing on her Twitter page: 'At #tinthepark the sun is shining, the weather is sweet! Ready to have fun! ;) Perrie <3.

And it's little wonder the girls had plenty to be happy about, after it was recently revealed they banked an impressive £1.2million in the last financial year.

A source told The Sun: 'For a long time they were only on a very small amount of money, because it always takes a while for song royalties to come through. But now it’s started to come in thick and fast.'

'Given the girls have almost no expenses - they are always working, they get most of their clothes free and things such as bottle service in nightclubs are gratis - a lot of the income into that business will be saved up.'

Also performing at T in the Park on Sunday was Rita Ora, who showed off her new blue dip-dye as she took to the stage in a skimpy white bra top and double denim. 

Meanwhile, her newfound enemy Azealia Banks flaunted her slim physique in a bizarre net-detail multi-couloured bodysuit. 

The final night of the Scottish festival will feature a headline set from The Killers, with performances by Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club and David Guetta throughout the day.
