Not many people would be as smiley as Denise Van Outen if they were about to embark on a grueling trek along the Great Wall of China.
The Magic FM host was all packed up and ready to leave for the airport on Saturday, as she carried her backpack and suitcase to the car.
The 39-year-old, who will have to hike between six and ten hours each day for a week, is hoping to raise as much money as she can for her chosen charity.

Denise, who recently broke up with her husband, Lee Mead, is doing the trek in memory of her best friend's father, Michael Edwards, who passed away from leukaemia last year.
According to her Just Giving page, their families have been close since Denise was a teenager, and she’s godmother to Michael’s grandchild, Elicia, 20, who will also be joining her on the trip.
The presenter has so far raised more than £12,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which helps the specialist hospital provide cancer care for patients.
